Dave Gilmore, prominent Louisiana auctioneer, conducted an auction of Jefferson Parish Road Home properties on August, 15, 2009.  His company, Sperry Van Ness/Gilmore Auction & Realty of Kenner, LA, sold 87 properties for $4,073,000. Check out the link to the article in the Times Picayune:
